QUALITY & INNOVATION
The cultivation of Pears of Emilia Romagna with the PGI mark is guaranteed and controlled in all its procedures by a detailed production regulations that allows a production in respect of the fruit, the environment and the health of the consumer. Each phase of the production process is monitored by control structures that allow the total traceability of the products, the guarantee of quality and the certainty of taste, from production to marketing. The Consortium
Since May 2002, the Consortium has been working to defend the quality of pears from Emilia Romagna, enforcing the production regulations and enhancing, through communication and support to producers and consumers, the products in order to promote their consumption in Italy and abroad.
